Job summary

First National Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to support the Retail unit in delivering exceptional customer service and banking solutions. The role focuses on greeting customers, identifying needs, and guiding them through the bank's products and services.

You will handle transactions, maintain accurate data, and strive to convert interactions into qualified referrals while adhering to policies and risk controls. On-site work across market locations may be required.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal abilities are essential.
Detail-oriented approach with accuracy in data handling.
Proficiency with personal computers and standard office software is expected.
MS Word (basic), MS Excel (intermediate), and MS PowerPoint (basic) are required.
Experience in a banking environment and knowledge of banking policies and consumer products are preferred.

Responsibilities

Promotes the sales process by greeting customers and identifying needs, leveraging leads and cross-selling bank products.
Input and maintain data quality for referrals, customers, and applicants using approved branch technology.
Execute routine teller transactions and other operational duties per policies and procedures.
Identify opportunities to convert transactions into qualified sales or referral leads.
Complete lifecycle of all relationships in line with consumer bank standards.
Adhere to risk management and regulatory compliance requirements in daily activities.
