Job summary

Huntington National Bank in New Lenox, IL is seeking a Financial Relationship Banker to help consumer and business customers achieve their financial goals by identifying needs and recommending deposit, loan, and other banking solutions.

You will provide excellent service, grow relationships through appointments and referrals, educate customers on online and mobile banking, and maintain knowledge of bank products, policies and security requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service and sales in banking or related field.
• Background check including fingerprinting required (NMLS regulations).
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and 1+ year sales experience in banking or business-to-business sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, and referrals from customers and colleagues.
• Educate and refer customers to other bank areas to deepen relationships.
• Educate customers on online, mobile, and ATM banking.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, technology and policies.
• Adhere to operational, security, risk and regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
