Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in New York is seeking a Relationship Banker to deliver warm, knowledgeable service in a branch. You will represent the brand by putting clients first and using the latest banking solutions to meet their financial needs.

In this role you will grow and manage client relationships, meet with them in person and by phone, educate them on products, navigate regulatory requirements, and connect them to our team of specialists.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking or Financial Services.
• Ability to create memorable experiences for clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail.
• Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet compliance obligations.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations - deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust - ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
