Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Relationship Banker in a Chase Branch to represent our brand with hospitality and expert financial guidance. You will acquire, manage, and retain client relationships using financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions and support the branch's success.

You will engage clients in person and by phone, understand their needs, and tailor recommendations while adhering to risk and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
• Ability to create memorable experiences for clients and elevate the client experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs.
• Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail and providing a consistent client experience.
• Operate within established risk parameters and meet risk and compliance obligations, including training.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Licensing requirements include SIE, FINRA Series 6, state registration (63 if required) and Life licenses; unlicensed applicants must obtain licenses within 180 days.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations with attentive, friendly service in a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them to build lasting relationships and tailor product/service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite consultative communication to understand client needs and build trust.
• Educate clients about technology solutions like Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to assist with banking needs.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly to consult on banking solutions and connect clients with specialists.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
