First Merchants Bank is seeking a Customer Relationship Representative to join our team. This role will execute on individual and team sales and service metrics to help the banking center achieve strategic goals, including opening deposit accounts and processing loan applications while guiding clients to digital tools.

You will deliver a meaningful customer service experience, proactively engage clients, and build lasting relationships in a fast-paced banking center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum 1 year banking or sales experience.
• Ability to obtain S.A.F.E Act registration at time of employment.
• Notary Public designation ability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service by addressing banking needs in a fast-paced, relationship-focused environment.
• Proactively engage clients to understand financial needs and recommend products and digital tools.
• Resolve inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure a positive client experience.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and process loan applications.
• Educate clients and enroll them in electronic banking and services.
• Maintain accurate client records and support sales goals with CRM tools.
