Job summary

Truist is seeking a customer-focused Teller to deliver a distinctive client experience and efficient transactions at a Raleigh branch. You will educate clients on digital banking tools and support outbound outreach to identify opportunities for service and product needs.

The role emphasizes strong interpersonal skills, basic PC proficiency, and the ability to multi-task in a busy branch. Weekend/extended hours and travel may be required as part of staffing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure consistent service while handling transactions and uncovering needs.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support sales process through outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and risk management guidelines.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
