Job summary

Truist in Cary, NC seeks a Regular teller to provide timely client service, accurately process transactions, and maintain records. You will deliver superior service while identifying clients' financial needs and supporting IRM activities.

The role includes outbound outreach, education on digital banking, and adherence to internal controls. A high school diploma and relevant client service experience are required, with weekend availability expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required, including temporary assignments or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation and handling complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge and better serve clients.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and stay informed of policy changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution, handling workloads per branch needs.
