Job summary

Truist Financial is seeking a Regular, entry-level Client Service Associate to provide timely and accurate processing of client transactions and maintain records. You will deliver high-quality service, identify client financial needs, and support outbound calls and Integrated Relationship Management activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, and by handling transactions while uncovering needs.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions including ATMs and Online/Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound client outreach, checking offers, and identifying needs or opportunities for referral.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions for clients' needs.
• Participate in the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance knowledge through sales, service and product knowledge meetings and training.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and stay informed on policy changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution, handling workload based on branch demands.
