Job summary

Commercial Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to assist customers with new and existing depository accounts, personal lending, and transactional needs. The role focuses on cross-selling products and delivering high-quality service while adhering to bank policies.

The Relationship Banker will open accounts, support loan origination and closings, and collaborate across departments to ensure client satisfaction and compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of banking or related experience.
• Associate’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Must be able to become registered and licensed in NMLS within 3 months of hire.
• Must be able to obtain Notary Public certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Discuss and recommend Commercial Bank’s products based on customer needs.
• Prepare proposals for prospects and customers to grow deposits and relationships.
• Open consumer and business depository accounts.
• Assist in mortgage and personal loan origination and closings.
• Collaborate with peer departments to meet customer needs and resolve issues.
• Maintain product knowledge for deposits and consumer lending.
• Process customer transactions within the branch.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
