Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience required.
• Minimum of 6 months retail sales or financial services experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule required with ability to work during hours of operations, including weekends and occasional non-bank hours.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and exercise a high degree of initiative.
• PC proficiency with desktop, laptop, tablet and smartphone devices and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit consistent relationship building including, but not limited to: prepare for customer interactions, build rapport and understand financial goals.
• Effectively utilize and document questions to understand customer needs and match them to Seacoast National Bank products and services.
• Confidently explain Seacoast National Bank products and services to customers and seek referrals from new and existing customers.
• Balance cash drawer daily and ensure accuracy in cash handling and transactions.
• Process checks, cash and negotiable instrument transactions per bank policies and procedures.
• Adhere to AML/BSA requirements, audit procedures and security measures to protect customers and bank assets.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and requests for service and escalate when appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of customer-facing technology and assist customers in using self-service options.
