Job summary

Truist is seeking a branch-based client service professional to deliver industry-leading service in person and over the phone. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, selling products, and referencing other specialists for complex financial goals.

The role may entail teller duties and requires the ability to travel for staffing needs. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential, as is compliance with SAFE and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building client relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs including locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposits, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by offering products and services to develop and retain relationships.
• Supports team sales by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through meetings and training.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Engages clients with courteous conversation while conducting transactions and helping them navigate the branch.
