Job summary

Truist is seeking a customer-focused professional in Chapin, SC to deliver superior client service in-person and by phone while developing new and existing relationships. The role includes cross-training to perform teller duties and contributing to branch sales goals through consultative conversations.

You will advise on consumer lending options, process loan applications, and support the team with multiple duties. Regular shifts with potential travel and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• SAFE compliance within 30 days of employment including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs and occasional travel/overnights.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Exercise advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by offering products and services.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and risk policies.
• Engage clients with courteous conversations during transactions and assist with navigation in-branch.
