Job summary

Truist in Batesburg-Leesville, SC seeks a customer-focused Banking Representative to deliver industry-leading client service in person and by phone, developing client relationships and offering financial solutions. Role may cross-train to teller duties as needed and supports branch sales targets.

You will conduct consultative conversations, refer complex needs to specialists, attend training, and help meet service and sales goals while adhering to all policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment and pass NMLS checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and shifts.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry-leading client service in person and on the phone.
• Develop and expand client relationships while cross-selling products.
• Refer more complex needs to internal specialists to support growth.
• Assist with teller duties as needed and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Engage clients with courteous conversations and identify financial goals.
