Job summary

First Guaranty Bank's Jennings Branch is seeking a Relationship Banker to deliver exceptional customer service while performing teller and personal banking duties. You will greet customers, process deposits, withdrawals, and payments, and assist with opening new accounts and related services.

You will identify financial needs, refer suitable banking solutions, support branch sales goals, maintain compliance with policies, and help with daily operations and community financial education

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• 6 months of cash handling experience required.
• Previous banking experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
• Open new deposit accounts and related services and assist customers with account maintenance.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and services.
• Support FGB sponsored Financial Foundations efforts to promote financial education in the communities we serve.
• Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate banking solutions.
• Maintain compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Support branch sales goals through proactive customer engagement.
• Assist with branch operations and administrative tasks as needed.
• Adhere to BSA/AML policy and all other bank policies.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
