Job summary

Washington Trust Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to build strong client relationships and serve as a point-of-sale expert for deposit and lending products. You will engage in individual and team sales strategies, receive comprehensive training on Washington Trust Bank’s products, and develop top-tier service and regulatory knowledge to support clients.

The culture is family-oriented, with a schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:30pm, and flexibility required.

• Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with accurate attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains effective relationships with clients, gaining their trust and respect by providing accurate and timely service and information.
• Provides product opportunities to clients using proactive selling techniques; efficiently and accurately opens all branch-related products.
• Engages with clients both over the phone and in person as they walk into the branch, presenting products and services that meet their needs.
