Job summary

Hudson Valley Credit Union is seeking a Relationship Advisor to deliver superior member service while processing transactions efficiently and applying a consultative sales approach. You will focus on developing new member relationships and deepening existing ones through cross-selling products and services.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Notary license within 12 months, and NMLS registration, plus at least 1 year of customer service and sales experience in a financial or retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NYS Notary Public license within 12 months of hire required.
• NMLS registration required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service and sales experience in a financial institution or retail environment required.
• Teller or cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and educate members on the most convenient channels.
• Handle large volumes of cash and assist with branch operations.
• Open new memberships, accounts, and loans; process related transactions.
• Refer members to branch partners for consultation on financial services as appropriate.
• Follow policies, procedures and participate in required training including BSA.
