Job summary

Emergicon LLC in Terrell, TX is seeking an Enrollment Specialist to prepare enrollment applications for health plans (Medicare/Medicaid) and to set up payer portals for eligibility, filing, ERA, EFT, and appeals. You will maintain provider accounts and ensure accuracy of licenses and addresses.

We offer hands-on training for 90 days and then remote work. The role requires 2+ years in provider enrollment, ability to interpret payer documents, and strong communication in a fast-paced EMS billing

Qualifications

• When applying, candidates should have at least 2+ years of provider enrollment experience.
• Ability to explain EFT, ERA, EOB, COB and related pay-to addresses clearly.
• Knowledge of federal/state insurance laws and payer processing is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare enrollment and re-enrollment applications for all health plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
• Set up payer portals for eligibility, claim filing, claim status, ERA, EFT, and appeals.
• Set up and maintain group accounts for multiple providers.
• Keep provider licenses and insurance addresses up to date.
• Complete and send W-9 forms.
• Read and interpret complex payer documents.
• Solve problems and provide excellent service to clients and payers.
• Meet all deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Terrell, TX | Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

How you’ll work

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma
• 2+ years of provider enrollment experience
• Ability to explain the difference between an EFT, ERA, EOB, COB, and “pay to” address
• Ability to read payer applications and understand how payers work
• Knowledge of federal and state insurance laws
• Knowledge of insurance claim processing and third‑party reimbursement
• Ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
• Clear, respectful communication
