Job summary

Emergicon LLC is seeking a diligent Cash Applications Specialist – EMS Billing to join our Terrell, Texas office. This role handles posting of payments, reviewing remittances, and reconciling to the general ledger as part of a busy AR team.

You will work a Monday–Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm, with the potential to move to hybrid or remote after 90 days. We value accuracy, teamwork, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced EMS billing environment.

Qualifications

• / High school diploma or GED.
• / 1+ year of medical payment posting experience.
• / Strong attention to detail and good organization.
• / Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once.
• / Clear, professional communication, both written and verbal, including on the phone.
• / Skill with Microsoft Office, including Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering).
• / Comfort with accounting or financial software and electronic payment systems.
• / Nice to have: accounts receivable experience.
• / Nice to have: ambulance or EMS billing experience.

Cash Applications Specialist – EMS Billing

Location: Terrell, TX | Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (local candidates only - Must be a Texas resident for consideration)

How You’ll Work

This role is based in our Terrell, TX office. You'll get hands-on training when you start.

Depending on your performance, there will be an option to move to hybrid or remote after 90 days.

You’ll report to the Cash Applications Manager and work closely with the accounts receivable team and insurance companies.

Most of the job is done at a computer, with frequent typing and data entry while sitting or standing at a desk.
