Job summary

Ascension in Wichita, KS is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to analyze public and private insurance policies, ensure accurate payments, and sustain patient care.

You will investigate denials, coach internal teams on coding and reimbursement guidelines, and collaborate with agencies during third-party audits, with tuition discounts through our partnership with Wichita State University.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Required licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• Insurance follow up experience highly preferable.
• Knowledge of filing appeals with insurance companies.

Responsibilities

• Schedule : Day Shift | Full-Time, 40 hours weekly, Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm

• Empower our internal staff by serving as the go-to expert, providing clear coaching and training on proper coding and reimbursement guidelines.
• Partner seamlessly with external agencies and internal teams to navigate third-party audits with transparency and confidence.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
