Job summary

Ascension is seeking an RN to lead the Operating Room team in Wichita, KS. This full-time, evening-shift role involves mentoring staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring high-quality outcomes within a collaborative OR environment.

You will be responsible for optimizing staff assignments, addressing patient concerns, and maintaining strong standards of care while participating in ongoing professional development opportunities offered by Ascension.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required in Kansas.
• ACLS or BLS certification within specified timelines.
• At least 1 year of cumulative job-specific nursing experience.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
