Job summary

Ascension via Christi Clinic is seeking a Patient Access Rep for the Murdock Immediate Care site in Wichita, KS. The role is day shift, full-time (40 hours/week) from 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, located in Wichita, KS.

You will greet patients in the lobby, deliver friendly assistance, and maintain a welcoming, orderly reception area while supporting registration when needed. A High School diploma or equivalent and/or relevant experience are required.

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Greet and welcome patients: Act as an advocate in the lobby by warmly greeting patients, providing directions, answering non-medical questions, guiding them to registration desks, and striking up friendly conversation to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Provide exceptional customer service: Prioritize patient interaction and support to help visitors feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit.
• Maintain lobby presentation: Keep the lobby areas clean, tidy, and organized for all arriving patients and visitors.
• Assist with cross-functional support: Cross-train for the Patient Access Rep position to help answer phone calls and step in to assist with registration when necessary.
• Ensure active, on-the-move engagement: Maintain an active presence by standing and walking for much of the day rather than sitting at a desk.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
