Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician IV (RTT IV) for the San Angelo State Supported Living Center in Carlsbad, TX. The role supports multiple therapeutic disciplines and helps implement treatment plans under supervision.

Knowledge of ABA and sensory integration is valued; a high school diploma or GED is required along with at least six months of experience with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques (e.g., ABA, sensory integration).
• Ability to train staff in treatment methods and related areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to develop and maintain data collection systems.

Responsibilities

• Attends work on a regular basis and may work evenings or rotating shifts.
• Implements treatment plans through hands-on methods and monitors goals.
• Assists in development/evaluation of treatment plans across disciplines.
• Schedules and trains DSPs to ensure continuity of treatment objectives.
