Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Rehab Therapy Technician II to support habilitation and rehabilitation services at Big Spring State Hospital. The RTT II will assist with therapeutic activities, data collection, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, accompanying individuals to activities, and helping implement treatment plans under supervision.

Qualifications

• Assist in habilitation/rehabilitation therapy under supervision.
• Collect data for treatment plans and observe sessions.
• Communicate effectively with team and individuals served.

Responsibilities

• Attend to assigned therapeutic activities and prepare materials.
• Accompany individuals to activities and appointments as required.
• Perform housekeeping duties in therapeutic areas as directed.
• Assist in development and implementation of treatment plans.
