Job summary

Mercy Edmond, OK is seeking a patient care assistant to support therapists under supervision. You will help with patient registration and scheduling, transfer patients to and from the Rehab Therapy Gym, and prepare treatment areas for procedures.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; one year of experience or education in therapies preferred. No supervisory duties; you’ll work with patients of all ages and must be reliable and have strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work with patients of all ages and maintain professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with patient care duties under supervision.
• Assist with patient registration and scheduling.
• Transfer patients to and from the Rehab Therapy Gym.
• Prepare treatment areas and assist with procedures as directed by therapists.
• Greet patients and maintain a courteous, safe environment.
• Occasionally perform receptionist duties and assist with transportation as needed.
