Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated team member to support the Physical Therapy team. In this role, you will assist therapists with patient care, help with registration and scheduling, and transfer patients to and from the Rehab Therapy Gym, ensuring smooth clinic flow.

You will enter charges, prepare treatment areas, and perform receptionist duties as needed, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and upholding Mercy's mission and patient-centered values.

Qualifications

• One year experience or education in therapies preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with patient care duties for patients of all ages.
• Assist with registration and scheduling of patients.
• Transfer patients to and from the Rehab Therapy Gym.
• Enter charges and prepare treatment areas as directed by therapists.
• Perform receptionist duties and transportation for patients as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area according to departmental policies.
• Greet patients and visitors and notify therapists on arrival.
