Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Support role to assist therapists with patient care across all ages. You will help register patients, schedule appointments, and transfer patients to the Rehab Therapy Gym.

You’ll prepare treatment areas and enter charges as directed, while performing occasional receptionist tasks and patient transportation. You will work under therapists and departmental policies, maintaining safety and compassionate care aligned with Mercy's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Experience or education in therapies preferred.
• Ability to register and schedule patients per policy.
• Ability to transfer patients safely between areas.
• Excellent human relation skills with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with patient care duties for all ages under supervision.
• Assist with patient registration and scheduling.
• Transfer patients to/from Rehab Therapy Gym.
• Enter charges and prepare treatment areas as directed by therapists.
• Perform receptionist duties and coordinate appointments as needed.
• Transport patients to and from the department following safety policies.
• Greet patients and visitors and notify therapists on arrival.
