Job summary

Villa Las Palmas Healthcare in California is seeking a General Purpose Rehabilitation Support Aide to assist with non-clinical tasks that enhance rehabilitation services, including equipment management, patient transport, and coordination with therapy staff.

You will help set up therapy sessions, maintain infection control and safety, communicate with therapists, transport patients, complete logs, and support denials management and supply orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read technical procedures and manuals.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and perform setup for physical, occupational, and speech therapy treatments.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate regularly with supervisor and healthcare personnel.
• Coordinate scheduling needs with therapists and residents.
• Transport, transfer, and prepare patients and equipment as directed by therapists.
• Accurately complete logs and forms as directed by supervisor.
• Report unusual occurrences promptly to therapists or supervisor.
• Monitor and assist with denials management activities when required.
• Order and replenish office and clinical supplies as needed.
