Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Rehab Aide/Tech to support physical therapy services. You will set up patient rooms, assist with wound care procedures, and ensure clean, safe treatment spaces.

The role includes basic clerical duties and occasional front-desk support as part of daily operations. Applicants should have a high school diploma, CPR certification, and at least 6 months of one-on-one interaction experience.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse patient groups.
• Familiarity with computers and basic electronic health records.
• CPR certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer therapy-supported patient exercise programs per therapist plans.
• Assist with wound care setup and equipment as directed by therapists.
• Maintain the treatment environment and clean equipment after use.
• Vendors DME to patients based on orders and therapist recommendations.
• Participate in department meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform clerical tasks and support front desk operations when needed.
