Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Recreation or related field required.
• High school diploma or GED with two years of custody experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of inmates with supportive counseling and case planning.
• Develop, implement, and supervise programs within policy frameworks for rehabilitation.
• Coordinate transition (re-entry) prior to parole or release into the community.
• Perform custody-related duties including medical, court trips, site checks and work release.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Research community services and resources to support offenders.
