Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is seeking a Rehabilitation Nurse Technician to support adults and children in a rehabilitation setting. The role works under RN supervision, assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, skin care and device applications, within 12-hour shifts.

The position requires a CNA certification or RN student with clinical rotations completed, plus CPR and solid math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Current CNA certification or active RN program enrollment with clinical rotations completed.
• CPR certification must be maintained.
• Good math skills and ability to perform basic calculations.
• Strong customer service orientation and clear communication.
• Ability to adapt in a changing healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs and mobility under RN supervision.
• Support skin care, bowel and bladder programs, and hygiene needs.
• Document vital signs and report changes to the RN promptly.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and safety using proper devices.
• Participate in unit quality projects and precept new staff.
