BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to fill the position of Rehab Manager in our New Castle, DE office. We are also open to a Registered Nurse (RN) interested in this position!

As Rehab Manager, you will lead the field staff in providing superior quality client service, clinical excellence, and adherence to policies and procedures. Rehab Managers are also accountable for internal case management, field staff evaluation, and development. The successful Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Registered Nurse should have prior experience in Medicare Home Health. Responsibilities of PT/OT/SLP or RN Rehab Manager:

1. Direct and coordinate the care provided by a multi-disciplinary care team
2. Lead field staff in delivering exceptional client service and quality clinical care
3. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures
4. Review clinical documentation, including OASIS and care plan coding
5. Monitor episodic utilization
6. Act as internal case manager and client advocate
7. Participate in hiring, interviewing, and orientation of field staff
8. Participate in ongoing education, evaluation, and development of field staff
9. Ensure accurate and timely case management, including supervision, authorization management, and interdisciplinary communication
10. Monitor Quality Assurance
11. Visit clients to conduct clinical assessments and supervise staff as necessary
12. Assist in developing Clinical Associates to become Clinical Managers
13. Provide clinical insight and focus on clinical competency of your staff
14. Create a warm, organized, and welcoming office grounded in customer service

Qualifications for PT/OT/SLP or RN Rehab Manager:

1. Current license in good standing, with at least 2 years of experience as a PT, OT, SLP, or RN
2. Prior supervisory experience
3. Minimum of two years community health experience
4. Prior clinical and managerial experience within a Medicare Certified Home Health agency
5. Strong clinical assessment and case management skills
6. Ability to work independently and take on increased responsibilities
7. Ambition for growth and advancement
8. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
9. Experience with electronic medical records and reporting systems
