As the Rehabilitation Services Program Manager, you provide leadership to the CRWH admissions/administration team and CARF accreditation. You will lead and manage the planning, implementation, tracking, and reporting of high priority CRWH projects and goals and manage the goal of delivering projects on time and within budget and scope.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, resource allocation, implementation, communication, budget and evaluation of projects
  • Mentor and educate staff on performance improvement methodology
  • Work collaboratively with the leadership team in strategic project selection and project prioritization. Responsible for developing and maintaining a project management tracking tool.
  • Collaborate with IT in identifying tools to support project work and Rehabilitation Services operations
  • Act as a liaison for essential services and collaborate with other department representatives
  • Collaborate with service line leadership on the development of business plans
  • Develop processes and tools for service line leaders to manage departmental/program projects independently
  • For identified projects/initiatives, develop, implement, and supervise the operation of processes and procedures which will increase efficiency, patient satisfaction, and decrease costs.
  • Manage the activities of assigned employees. Assess competency of staff. Assume responsibility for scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, disciplinary actions, transfers, promotions, terminations, salary adjustments, hiring and training of new employees.
  • Maintain standards to meet all requirements of CARF.
  • Responsible for and oversee accrediting body surveys for the CRWH, e.g., CARF.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Master's Degree or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology; or Business or Health Care Administration
  • At least 5 years of experience in health care
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
  • Project Management experience in Healthcare setting required
  • Project management, process improvement, data management, statistical analysis and computer experience required
  • Certificate in Project Management (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma experience preferred
