Job summary

Duke Clinical Research Institute is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations of rehabilitation services clinics, providing leadership to rehab staff on clinical and operational issues and collaborating with the manager on service area activities.

You will supervise staffing, scheduling, training, and competency orientation, support budget oversight, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, and mentor clinicians through change and growth.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in an accredited rehab field (OT/PT/SLP/Audio).
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience for a Bachelor's; 3 years for Master's/Doctorate holders.
• Current North Carolina licensure and any applicable certification or registry to practice the respective modality.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily rehab clinic operations and staffing.
• Supervise, direct, coach, and mentor rehab staff.
• Coordinate scheduling and workload based on capacity and competency.
• Ensure competency-based orientation and ongoing staff development.
• Promote quality care and regulatory compliance.
