Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Irving, TX is seeking a Rehabilitation Aid to assist licensed PTs in the clinic. This non-licensed role supports patient care, prepares treatment areas, and helps with scheduling and documentation under direct supervision.

The successful candidate will hold a high school diploma, have a current BCLS certification on hire, and ideally some PT-related experience. This part-time position offers benefits and a structured work environment within the rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous experience in Physical Therapy preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide Patient Support– Assist with therapy session preparation, transport patients safely, and observe exercises to report concerns to the therapist.
• Prepare and Maintain Therapy Areas– Set up and clean treatment spaces, prepare necessary equipment, and follow infection control protocols.
• Support Administrative Functions– Help with scheduling and documentation and monitor therapy supply inventory for restocking.
• Collaborate with the Care Team– Communicate with therapists and nurses and assist during group therapy or mobility training sessions.
• Uphold Safety and Professional Standards– Follow hospital policies, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure a safe, respectful environment for all patients.
