Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Pushing and pulling heavy objects; light to moderate work with up to 50 pounds to lift and carry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with restoration of guest functioning under the direct supervision of the staff physical therapist.
• Help guests reach their maximum performance and level of functioning.
• Perform clerical duties, assist with posting of guest charges, and participate in infection control and safety programs.
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Record treatment/service revisions in accordance with department policy.
