Dallas Medical Center in Irving, TX is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide (Physical Therapy Aide) to support the Physical Therapy team in a clinic setting. The role is non-licensed and focuses on patient care, treatment area preparation, and coordinating tasks to keep sessions running smoothly.

Responsibilities include assisting with therapy session prep, moving patients safely, maintaining treatment areas, handling scheduling and documentation, and communicating with therapists to report

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous experience in Physical Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Patient Support – Assist with therapy session preparation, transport patients safely, and observe exercises to report concerns to the therapist.
• Prepare and Maintain Therapy Areas – Set up and clean treatment spaces, prepare necessary equipment, and follow infection control protocols.
• Support Administrative Functions – Help with scheduling and documentation and monitor therapy supply inventory for restocking.
• Collaborate with the Care Team – Communicate with therapists and nurses and assist during group therapy or mobility training sessions.
• Uphold Safety and Professional Standards – Follow hospital policies, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure a safe, respectful environment for all patients.
