Qualifications

• Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Education Preferred: Students enrolled in physical therapy, athletic training or other health related field
• Experience Preferred: Previous rehab aide experience
• Experience in a healthcare, clerical or other role with a strong customer service element

Responsibilities

• Assesses waiting room status regularly and communicates with patients to ensure comfort and wait-time satisfaction.
• Greets, transports and escorts patients, educates and identifies patients making them feel welcome and comfortable.
• Assists the therapists in preparing the equipment for treatment and provides ambulatory assistance to patients as necessary.
• Keeps department clean, free of obstacles and stocked in supplies and linen; covers front desk and schedules appointments as needed.
• Performs safety checks of equipment and responds to supply/equipment issues to ensure availability.
