Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Students enrolled in physical therapy, athletic training or other health-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses waiting room status and liaises with patients to ensure comfort and wait-time satisfaction.
• Greets, transports and escorts patients to create a welcoming experience.
• Assists Therapists and prepares equipment for treatment; provides ambulatory assistance as needed.
• Keeps department clean, stocked, and organized; covers front desk duties as needed.
• Answers phones, schedules and changes patient appointments; collects co-pays.
• Performs safety checks on equipment and assists with supply/equipment issues to maximize usable life.
