Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Rehabilitation Aide at the Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center outpatient rehabilitation facility in Greenfield, WI. The role involves direct patient care in a busy clinic, with 36 hours per week and a negotiable schedule inside clinic hours.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and BLS certification within 6 months; no prior experience required. Pay ranges from $19.80 to $29.70 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including PTO and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills.
• Ability to relate to people of all age groups.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from the rehabilitation area using standard precautions.
• Performs treatment modalities including hydrocollator packs, ultrasound, and paraffin.
• Assists patients with toileting, ambulation or unskilled exercises as delegated.
• Provides hydrotherapy treatment as directed by a therapist, including setup and cleanup.
• Keeps hydro area and equipment clean and stocked.
• Orders and dispenses clean linen; empties hampers and changes linen.
• Performs clerical duties such as entering charges, answering phones, and filing charts.
• Assists with patient transfers and positioning, using proper technique.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care and communicates effectively with patients.
