Aufgaben

• Assist Licensed Therapy Providers with direct patient contact activities under supervision, such as patient positioning, transfers, and administration of therapeutic modalities.
• Improve therapist efficiency by initiating treatments when overlap occurs and by using problem-solving strategies.
• Perform registration, scheduling, cashiering, admitting and follow-up of patients to ensure efficient and courteous care; coordinate appointments with other areas or physician offices.
• Perform reception/clerical duties (phone calls, messages, greeting patients, scheduling, billing, mailing, filing) to support smooth department operations.
• Review therapy orders in EMR and route patients appropriately; maintain department records and process billing/reimbursement forms; verify insurance and follow up on reauthorizations.
• Monitor therapy environment to meet patient experience standards; order, stock and organize equipment and supplies; maintain department office equipment and perform basic upkeep.
• Cleans and disinfects gym/treatment areas and equipment; perform routine safety checks and complete work orders.
• Physical requirements support include lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling, and ability to handle travel and exposure to hazards as described in the job description.
