Job summary

Advocate Health Care's Aurora West Allis Medical Center is seeking a part-time rehabilitation support assistant to work under the supervision of licensed therapy providers. You will assist with patient positioning, transfers, and routine exercises, and help prepare therapy areas and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate and good literacy.
• 1 year of experience in health care, public relations or health care education preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Supports the rehabilitation department under supervision of licensed providers.
• Performs registration, scheduling, cashiering, admitting and follow-up to ensure efficient patient care.
• Maintains therapy environment and handles equipment, supplies and basic maintenance.
