Job summary

Advocate Health in Greenfield is hiring a full-time rehabilitation aide to support patient care in Outpatient Rehabilitation. The role runs 36 hours per week with a negotiable schedule within clinic hours Monday–Friday, including two late nights. Responsibilities include patient transport, hydrotherapy, and basic procedures under supervision.

Qualifications require a High School diploma and BLS within 6 months. Prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to relate to people of all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from rehabilitation area using standard precautions.
• Performs treatment modalities including hydrocollator packs, ultrasound, and paraffin.
• Assists patients with toileting, ambulation or unskilled exercises as delegated.
• Provides hydrotherapy treatment as directed by a therapist including scheduling and cleanup.
• Orders and dispenses linens and maintains clean treatment areas.
• Performs miscellaneous clerical duties and may assist with prior authorizations.
