Job summary

Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation is hiring an experienced Unit Coordinator for the Rehab Unit at White Oak Medical Center. You will support daily operations by processing physician orders, greeting visitors, and addressing patient needs with calm professionalism.

duties include prioritizing nursing unit clerical tasks and scheduling tests and consultations, while delivering excellent customer service to patients and staff on day shifts and every-other-weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior training in transcription of orders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes physician orders.
• Greets visitors, answers patient call requests, and communicates patient needs to staff.
• Prioritizes clerical duties of the nursing unit and schedules patient tests, procedures, and consultations.
• Organizes multiple tasks while maintaining excellent customer service skills and a calm demeanor.
