Job summary

Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network (NRHN) seeks a Rehab Technician to assist in the inpatient rehab department, support patient transport and clinical treatments, and help with clerical and cleaning duties as needed. The role contributes to a patient-centered care environment and adheres to NRHN policies and quality standards.

The position emphasizes independence, reliability, and strong teamwork, with CPR certification and physical ability to assist with transfers and ambulation.

Qualifications

• High School graduate preferred.
• Certified in CPR biennially.
• Proven organizational skills.

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to bend, lift and assist with transfers and ambulation.

Responsibilities

• The Rehab Technician performs assigned duties per NRHN policies and supports mission and quality outcomes.
• Inpatient Rehab Technician assists in department operations, manages wheelchair fleet, transports patients, and supports clinical treatment per state guidelines.
• Performs clerical and cleaning duties as assigned by the department Team Leader.

The Rehab Technician is responsible for performing assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care while supporting the organization’s mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes.

The Inpatient Rehab Technician is responsible for assisting in the overall department operations by performing tasks including management of wheelchair fleet, patient transport, assistance with clinical treatment in accordance with state practice act and state/federal guidelines. The Inpatient Rehab Technician will perform clerical and cleaning duties as assigned by the department Team Leader.
