Job summary

Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to support patients across inpatient and outpatient settings in NH. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient- and family-centered care, and adherence to NRHN service pledge.

You will work with diverse ages and collaborate with colleagues while meeting licensure requirements and the on-call/rotation expectations described in qualifications.

Qualifications

• Eligible for NH licensure as PT/OT/SLP/CF-SLP.
• Inpatient therapists must be licensed in NH.
• Outpatient therapists must be licensed in their state of hire and eligible for licensure in an alternate state within 3 months of hire.
• Trained and certified biennially in BLS Healthcare Provider CPR.
• Outpatient therapy: therapist must work a minimum of two evenings per week unless approved by regional outpatient directors.
• Inpatient therapy: therapist must work on holiday and weekend rotation as indicated by staffing levels.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands of the job are as follows:

• Frequent pulling, pushing and lifting a minimum of 30 pounds. Reasonable assistance may be requested in situations exceeding this amount.
• Occasional pulling, pushing and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds. Reasonable assistance may be requested in situations exceeding this amount (PT, PTA, OT & COTA only).
• Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling talking hearing and seeing.
• Perform maximal assist/dependent transfers as necessary.
