Job summary

Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network (NRHN) seeks a Rehab Aide to support OT/PT in patient treatment and to assist in departmental operations, including clerical and housekeeping duties. This role participates in group settings under supervision and adheres to NRHN policies and standards of care.

Required are good general health and the ability to assist with transfers and ambulation. Bilingual Spanish is preferred at selected sites, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered

The Rehab Aide is responsible for performing assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care while supporting the organization's mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes.

The Rehab Aide is responsible for assisting the OT/PT in patient treatment as directed by the therapist to assist in overall departmental operations by performing clerical and housekeeping as assigned by the supervisor. At no time will the Rehab Aide's assistance of the OT/PT in treatment be counted as billable skilled therapy. The aide will demonstrate dependability in all areas and will perform duties as assigned by the OT/COTA and/or PT/PTA. Rehab Aide will also be responsible for assisting the licensed therapist supervising patients in group settings.
