BRR is looking for a Full Time Rehab Tech to work with our therapy team at our skilled nursing facility in Livingston, NJ.

Broad River Rehab is a rapidly growing therapy company that partners with providers across all settings including assisted/independent and skilled nursing facilities to provide premier physical, occupational and speech therapy services.

Job Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the licensed therapists, optimize abilities and skills of patients in facilities:
• Transport and move patients as directed.
• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for treatments. Assist / facilitate telehealth visits.
• Assist licensed personnel in patient care.
• Maintain awareness of change in patient population, programs, and patient conditions and inform licensed personnel.
• Build a strong rehabilitative care practice within each facility under the guidance of licensed therapists:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with professional staff and good public relations with patients and families.
• Maintain confidentiality of company, patient and client information.
• Adhere to the appropriate dress code for the work environment.
• Follow the patient's Bill of Rights.
• Ensure adequate supplies for treatments and office needs.
• Complete forms and records, make copies, and obtain signatures as needed.
• Communicate effectively with relevant personnel.
• Follow HIPAA policies to ensure privacy and security of health information.

Competencies/Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, transfer, and lift 40+ pounds, with assistance if needed.
• Proficient typing skills (minimum 40 words per minute).

Credentials

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year healthcare experience.
• CNA Certification.
