Aurora Health Care seeks a patient-focused support technician to assist in the rehabilitation department under the licensed therapy provider. Primary duties include direct patient contact, positioning, and assisting with therapeutic modalities and exercises.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential as you will handle scheduling, billing, and coordinating care with other departments. A high school diploma and BLS certification are required or obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; BLS certification within 6 months.
• Prior healthcare clerical and patient contact experience preferred.
• Ability to follow supervision and perform routine rehab support tasks.

Responsabilités

• Support licensed therapy provider and rehab department with patient positioning and transfers.
• Handle registration, scheduling, billing, and coordinating appointments for efficiency.
• Maintain supplies, clean treatment areas and ensure safety and infection control.
• Communicate patient needs and care status to therapists and document in EMR.
