Job summary

Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Hall 1 Rehab/Subacute Care unit in Baltimore. You will coordinate care, support patients and families, and work with an interdisciplinary team to restore independence and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, creating care plans, administering medications, educating patients, and documenting care in the EMR, while upholding safety and compassionate care as a core value.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license required.
• CPR certification (AHA) required.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, age-appropriate nursing care in rehab/subacute setting.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Document care and outcomes in EMR.
• Advocate for patients and families.
• Support a positive team culture focused on compassion and safety.
