Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, communicate with families and physicians, and maintain comprehensive medical records. The role includes supervising CFY students and providing staff training to support rehabilitative care.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology, with Masters/Doctorate preferred, and proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care. Strong documentation, teamwork, and patient-centered care are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Master/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient with clinical documentation systems (Net Health, Point Click Care).
• Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve function.
• Supervise CFY Speech Pathology Fellows and students.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning to families and physicians.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled treatment environment.
